Our Handicap System
Our handicap system was designed to be fair and current. These were updated overtime as we learned new things on how players played and with statistics from over thousands of combined rounds to come up with with these numbers.
- It is based on your last 10 rounds of official play, meaning you have to join in the weekly tournament.
- Score cannot be more than 100. If you shoot 101, 100 will be entered as the score for handicap while 101 will be used to calculate weekly results.
- If your net score is 64.9 and lower, your score will be entered 5 times
- If your net score is 65 - 67.9, your score will be entered 4 times
- If your net score is 68 - 69.9, your score will be entered 3 times
- If your net score is 70 - 71.9, your score will be entered 2 times
- If your net score is 72 and higher, your score will be entered 1 time
- Your score cannot be more than 10 strokes over your handicap. For example: If your handicap is 12 or ( 84 ) and you shoot 98 that is 14 strokes higher then your handicap. Your entered score will be 94 for the handicap but 98 will be used to calculate results.
If you have further questions, please talk to your club leader about it. But this system is pretty fair and is working out nicely. If you don't play then your handicap will stay the same for better or worse.
